2018 What Hi-Fi Award Winners

The What Hi-Fi Awards are a yearly event that takes place every October where the very best products are chosen to receive prestigious awards within the hi-fi and home cinema markets. We are pleased to announce that both Monitor Audio and Roksan have received awards!

Monitor Audio's Bronze 2 received the award for 'Best Standmount Speaker £200-£350' for the 4th year in a row! What Hi-Fi? says the Bronze 2 is a "truly complete speaker for the money". They go on to say, "for their size, these speakers dig deep in the bass; they're tonally balanced and impressively detailed too".

Monitor Audio's Silver Series was also honoured this year. The Silver 200 AV12 system, which features the Silver 200, Silver C150, Silver FX and Silver W-12, received the award for 'Best Speaker Package £2000-£5000' for the second year in a row. In their system review, What Hi-Fi states, "Rarely are we so fully behind a speaker package for its work both in stereo and in surround sound, but with these Monitor Audio Silvers you truly are achieving both for the price of one."

Moving on to Roksan, the Blak Integrated Amplifier received the award for 'Best Stereo Amplifier over £2500'. What Hi-Fi said the Blak amp "has a powerful and energetic sound, with enough in the way of insight, subtlety and refinement to keep us happy." They also said the amp is "a fully featured all-rounder that works superbly with a wide range of systems and across all types of musical genres".

READERS' CHOICE AWARDS!

Finally, we are proud to say that the Monitor Audio Silver 100 received the What Hi-Fi 'Readers Award', which is voted on and given by the fans themselves! What Hi-Fi said the Silver 100 has a "bold, punchy, well balanced sound" and also "impressive sense of timing and dynamics".
